Kaitlyn Babicz, DVM
Veterinarian - Small Animal
Dr. Kaitlyn Babicz is a mixed animal veterinarian with special interests in companion animal medicine and surgery. She grew up in Illinois and Iowa, surrounded by farmsteads. At six years old she helped on her neighbor's dairy farm, watching calves come into the world, occasionally assisted by the farmer or the visiting veterinarian. From then on, she knew she had to become a veterinarian herself.
Dr. Kaitlyn earned her biology degree in Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, before attending Mississippi State University, where she completed her veterinary degree in 2015. She came to Wisconsin where she has had the opportunity to practice medicine on "all creatures great and small." Her veterinary experience is broad and includes beef and dairy cattle, goats, llamas, alpacas, cats and dogs, and even kangaroos, antelope, and ostrich! Dr. Kaitlyn's philosophy as a veterinarian is that all animals under our care, whether they live on our couches or in our barns, deserve the best care and medicine we can give them.
Dr. Kaitlyn likes to spoil her two English chocolate labradors that accompany her on many hikes in Wisconsin's state parks. When she's not at work, Dr. Kaitlyn also likes to swim, snowshoe, and spend time gardening and working outside.
