Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic can provide emergency vet care services during opening hours. We understand that emergencies rarely happen on a schedule and that timely care and support are essential to your pet’s recovery.

Difficulty breathing (wheezing, choking, coughing)
Bleeding heavily
Not eating or drinking
Has a very irregular and/or rapid heartbeat
Unable to urinate or pass stool
Shaking uncontrollably
Having seizures
Appears weak and disoriented
Pale gums
Fever
Chronic vomiting and/or diarrhea
Blood in urine or stool
Ingested or possibly ingested a toxin
Was hit by a car or fell from a height
Unable to walk straight or without collapsing
Bleeding from nose, ears, or rectum
Has puncture/bite wounds from another dog, cat, or a wild animal
