"Let's make a date for the Spring Seminar on March 9th"
The Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic will be hosting its annual Spring Seminar for Horse Owners on Wednesday, March 9th at the Monte Carlo Room in Elkhorn. Our clinic doctors will be joined by Dr. Kenton Morgan of Pfizer Animal Health to present subjects that many horse owners will find useful and informative.
The evening will begin at 6:30 with a meet and mix with our veterinarians. Seminars and discussion will follow from 7 until 9. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a host of delicious desserts will be served. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to register for door prizes.
We’ve scheduled a wide variety of educational topics that clients should find pertinent to the health of their horse. These topics and their presenters include:

- Tips for Using Dormosedan Gel with Dr. Kenton Morgan
- Advantages of Veterinary Dentistry with Dr. Morgan
- Managing the Metabolic Equine with Dr. Phil Burns

- Hot Topics for 2011 with Dr. Rick Tully

Spay Day Slated for March 3rd
As a service to our community, we'll be performing spays and neuters at special pricing on March 3rd.
Although National Spay Day is officially the last Tuesday of every February, the Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic will be celebrating spay day on March 3rd this year.
This is an excellent opportunity for our clients to bring in dogs and cats that they have been hesitant to have spayed or neutered due to monetary constraints. It is our hope that by “fixing” these dogs and cats we can reduce the number of unwanted puppies and kittens born each year.
